Terms of Service

The short version: you subscribe to the exclusive right to use one subdomain of roofing.company (for example orlando.roofing.company) and we redirect it to your website. You do not buy a domain name. Roofing.company owns the parent domain. The right lasts as long as your subscription is active and paid.
1. Who we are
These terms are an agreement between you (the business subscribing, "you") and Roofing.company ("we", "us") for use of the service at roofing.company and its subdomains (the "Service"). By completing checkout you confirm you can bind your business to these terms.
2. What you get
- An exclusive, revocable, non-transferable license to use one assigned subdomain (the "Address") while your subscription is active.
- Only one subscriber may hold a given Address at a time.
- While your subscription is active and in good standing, visits to the Address are redirected to the website you provide, or the Address points to the host you choose in your dashboard (an A or CNAME record). You are responsible for the content served from your own website or server.
3. What you do not get
- Ownership of any domain name. Roofing.company owns and controls roofing.company and every subdomain, including your Address.
- Any guarantee of search engine rankings, traffic, leads, calls or sales.
- Website hosting or email for the Address. DNS for the Address stays with us; we create the record you choose in your dashboard.
4. Payment and renewal
Subscriptions are billed yearly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically on the same date each year until canceled. Prices for existing subscriptions may change only at renewal and only after at least 30 days' notice by email.
If a renewal payment fails, we may keep the redirect running for a grace period while the payment is retried. If payment is still not received, the subscription ends, the redirect stops and the Address may be offered to another business.
5. Cancellation
You may cancel at any time from your dashboard or billing page. See Cancellations & Refunds for what happens next.
6. Your destination website
You must own or be authorized to promote the website you redirect to, and it must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy. You can change the destination at any time from your dashboard.
7. Suspension and termination
We may pause or end a redirect, with or without notice, if the destination breaks our Acceptable Use Policy, endangers visitors, misrepresents who you are, or if we are required to by law. If we end your subscription for reasons other than your breach, we will refund the unused portion of your current year.
8. Availability
We work to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Planned maintenance and events outside our control may cause temporary interruptions.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is", and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost business or indirect damages.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be emailed to subscribers at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing your subscription after that means you accept the updated terms.
11. Your responsibility
You agree to cover any claims, losses or costs (including reasonable legal fees) that arise from the content you send visitors to, or from your breach of these terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
13. Other terms
These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy and Cancellations & Refunds policy, are the whole agreement between us. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. You may not transfer your subscription without our written consent.
